Not a commercial space. A calm one.
After eleven years photographing Brisbane's newest little loves, I've learnt that families feel most comfortable in spaces that feel welcoming, personal and relaxed. That's why my studio is a warm, private space within my home in Bracken Ridge.
No strangers passing through. No busy reception area. No pressure to rush. Just your family, a calm environment, a cuppa, something to nibble on, and everything prepared before you arrive.
If you're nervous, that's completely normal
Handing your newborn to someone you've only just met is a big step, and I never take that trust for granted.
I trained as a birth doula before I ever photographed a newborn — settling babies is what I did first.
I'm a mum too, so I understand just how protective those first days can feel.
There's no rush. We pause whenever BUB needs a feed or a cuddle. It has never once ruined a session.

And the studio itself is warm and cosy for newborns, private, calm and clean — with easy parking, a bathroom, pram-friendly access, and only one family a day.
