But before any of that, I was a little girl in Geelong who loved creativity and children. That love led me to become an Early Childhood Educator, caring for young hearts and forming lasting bonds with their families.
When my husband and I moved to Queensland, we faced our own hard road — infertility, PCOS, endometriosis. Then, miraculously, came Dallyn. Then Lylah. Then Kalani — and suddenly we were a household of three under three.
Becoming a mum was the dream of my life. That's what I photograph now — the tender, fleeting middle of it, for families living the same beautiful whirlwind I did.

I'm Kaylah
When I had my own babies, I didn't document those first precious days the way I wish I had. I know the heartache of wishing you had just a few more photographs to hold onto—and it's the reason I do what I do today.
Over the past 11 years, I've had the privilege of documenting hundreds of Brisbane families through pregnancy, birth, newborn and beyond. As a qualified birth doula, I'm not just another photographer walking into one of the most intimate moments of your life. I understand birth. I know when to quietly observe, when to encourage, and when to simply let your story unfold.
Whether you're welcoming your first baby or your fourth, my goal is the same: to create beautiful, heartfelt images that become part of your family's legacy—so years from now, you'll remember not only what those moments looked like, but exactly how they felt.
