In my warm Bracken Ridge studio, newborn sessions are calm, baby-led and never rushed. Your baby sets the pace, with plenty of time for feeding, cuddles, settling and simply taking a break whenever they need it.
With over 11 years of experience photographing newborns, and the gentle understanding that comes from being a qualified birth doula, your baby's comfort and safety always come first.

As a qualified birth doula and mum, creating a calm, peaceful environment comes naturally. The studio is kept warm, every pose is gentle and baby-led, and we move entirely at your little one's pace.
There is never any pressure to rush. We pause whenever your baby needs a feed, a cuddle or simply a moment to settle. In all my years photographing newborns, taking the time they need has never once ruined a session — it always creates a better one.
Newborns are ideally photographed between 4 and 12 days old while they're still naturally sleepy and curled, but older babies are always welcome. Their sessions simply tell the story a little differently, with more awake expressions, stretches and family connection.

Absolutely. I only photograph one newborn session per day, allowing time to thoroughly clean and prepare the studio before each family arrives. All fabrics and wraps are freshly cleaned between sessions, and every detail is considered with your baby's comfort and safety in mind.
